Effective Surface Plasmon Polaritons Induced by Modal Dispersion in a Waveguide

We provide further theoretical insights and experimental verification of the modal-dispersion-induced effective surface-plasmon polaritons (ESPPs) by engineering the transverse-electric (TE) modes in conventional rectangular waveguides.
